I Love This Dress: Alicia Keys in Vera Wang

 
So, I hear that Chelea Clinton AND Alicia Keys wore Vera Wang wedding gowns this past weekend!

Well, I cannot blame either bride.  Vera Wang gowns are literally "mouth watering."

I found Chelsea's gown to be quite lovely, but I must admit that I am partial to Alicia's gown.

Alicia's ivory silk georgette was an asymmetrical draped goddess gown with a jewel detail on the back shoulder,  She finished off the look with a jewel encrusted headband and sandals.

Her entire look was a complete fit for her Mediterranean style wedding day.

I Love This Dress - Lilly Pulitzer

My guy and I are planning to renew our wedding vows this summer, and I intend to wear this dress.  I am not sure if it is going to be this exact Lilly Pulitzer dress.  But, it will definitely be something like this.

 
The lace is so pretty, and a short dress is just right for this 5' 2" lady.  I am definitely a fan of the vintage feel of the dress -- In fact, it feels like my mom's wedding dress from 1966.

So, what do you think?  Is this a good vow renewal dress?

If Joan Holloway Were a . . .

If Joan Holloway (now Joan Harris) were a "Vixen Bridesmaid," she could wear this ruby-colored dress.  Of course, she would fill it out in all of the "fun" places.

If Betty Draper decided to divorce Don and marry that handsome political staffer, she would wear this vintage-style wedding gown very well.  Granted, Amsale wedding gowns weren't an option then, but she would "rock it" just the same.

Cocoa Wedding Color

Brown may not be the wedding color of choice anymore, but any bride would look absolutely gorgeous in these cocoa glass pearls available at Miriam Haskell.

Or how about these cocoa-colored Christian Louboutin Prestige Pumps.  The red and cocoa colors make a luscious wedding color combination.
 

I know this is a much darker cocoa color, but I just love this silk de chine A-line Jim Hjelm bridesmaid gown.
